Administrative Coordinator II

Job Description Summary The Administrative Coordinator for the Office of the CEO is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Office of the CEO, its leaders, staff and the broader MUSC Health Executive Leadership Team. This role is responsible for managing office operations; performing specialized and routine operational and administrative functions to support and maintain efficient and effective operations. The coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the CEO. Prioritizes inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts; makes judgments and recommendations to ensure smooth day‑to‑day engagements. Responsibilities Maintain knowledge of the system organizational structure, committee charts, and ensure leadership websites are maintained and up to date. Maintain comprehensive records. Prepare leadership council, committee, and task force meeting agendas; schedule meetings; ensure meeting summaries and track follow‑up actions. Provide support for special events including leadership retreats, educational conferences, and other events. Coordinate complex administrative, business management and/or support activities, including fiscal management, personnel management, procurement, supply services, auxiliary services, etc. Develop and monitor compliance with annual budgets; consult with program personnel regarding availability of funds and preparation of funding requests. Plan, implement and coordinate special projects or programs; prepare detailed program reports. Formulate and administer administrative policies and procedures. Provide training in administrative/management practices and procedures. Qualifications A high school diploma and five years relevant experience in business management, public administration or administrative services; or a bachelor’s degree and three years experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.
