Accounting Specialist

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day financial operations for a Long-term Contract position in Rochester, Minnesota. The role offers the chance to apply accounting knowledge in areas such as reconciliations, billing, payables, and receivables while helping maintain reliable financial records.Responsibilities:• Manage invoice processing, payment workflows, and supporting documentation to keep accounts payable activities accurate and timely.• Monitor incoming payments, assist with customer or internal billing matters, and maintain organized accounts receivable records.• Perform account reconciliations by reviewing transactions, identifying discrepancies, and following through on needed corrections.• Support routine accounting operations, including journal-related tasks, record maintenance, and financial data verification.• Review financial entries for completeness and accuracy to help ensure dependable reporting and compliance with internal standards.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, resolve accounting issues, and improve day-to-day financial processing.• Assist with month-end or periodic close activities by preparing schedules, reconciling balances, and organizing supporting materials.
