\n \nWe are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Advanced Materials & Chemicals division in Rochester, NY. This individual will work day shift and support the Specialty Chemicals Inks and Dispersions Manufacturing organization within the Industrial Films and Chemicals division at Eastman Business Park.
\nThis position will support either a 24/7 production schedule, or a 24/4 production schedule. This individual will support off-hours and weekend issues that may arise.
\n \nPrimary activities/responsibilities to include:
\n- \n
- Supervise a team of ~ 40 skilled trades employees \n
- Lead skilled trades team in adhering to company and OSHA safety practices \n
- Implement and comply with all company Safety Programs \n
- Use of lockout/ tagout procedures \n
- Oversee Electrical safety audits \n
- Work with local planners/schedulers to balance skilled trades resources to execute troubleshooting, PM’s, and small scale improvement efforts \n
- Perform payroll approvals \n
- Performance development and annual appraisals \n
- Lead performance counseling as necessary \n
- Oversee development activities for apprentices including Bluebook management \n
- Local building management support and contact with external vendors/resource providers as needed \n
- Lead hiring and on-boarding process \n
- Work with other Maintenance supervisors within Kodak for shared resource needs \n
Oversight of project activities:

- Spare parts management \n
- Workforce efficiency – planning and execution \n
- Training and Mentoring \n
- Workforce skills depth analysis and succession planning \n
Required Skills/Experience:
\n- \n
- Must have familiarity with skilled trades across multiple disciplines including pipe, machinist, electrical, and instrumentation. \n
- Previous experience managing skilled trades teams. \n
- Prior leadership experience of people, either as group leaders, supervisors, or multiple project management activities. \n
- Ability to physically investigate and inspect areas that would include ladders, multiple steps, enclosed areas, including areas with limited lighting. \n
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. \n
