Commercial Litigation Attorney

A well-established business law firm in Towson, MD is seeking an experienced Business Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigator who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to handle sophisticated commercial disputes for a diverse client base. Responsibilities: Manage all phases of business litigation matters, from pre-suit through trial, including case strategy, discovery, motions practice, and settlement negotiations Represent clients in disputes involving contracts, partnerships, shareholder issues, business torts, and related commercial matters Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents Conduct depositions and represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and arbitrations Manage client relationships and provide strategic counsel on litigation risk and business objectives Collaborate with partners and associates on case strategy and staffing Mentor junior associates as needed Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Maryland 5+ years of business litigation experience at a law firm Strong background in commercial litigation, including contract disputes, business torts, and related matters Excellent writing, research, and oral advocacy skills Proven ability to manage a caseload independently Strong interpersonal and client management skills Portable book of business a plus but not required What We Offer: Competitive compensation and benefits package Opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value matters Professional development and growth opportunities The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 and $200,000.
