Post-Doctoral Scholar - Psychiatry

Overview Post-Doctoral Scholar to pursue specialized research training and expertise in planning and execution of clinical research projects in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. The role involves implementing extramurally funded studies on the effects of environmental exposures on mental health, using a variety of methodologies including neuropsychological testing, EEG, and neuroimaging. Responsibilities Oversee study activities in Ghana and other R01 projects as needed. Assist with ECHO analyses and perform statistical analyses. Write and prepare manuscripts, articles, and research reports for publication and presentation. Write and submit grant applications to obtain funding to support research. Provide supervision for research assistants and diagnostic interviewers. Attend research seminars and lab meetings. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field (required). Clinical Degree in School Psychology is preferred (licensure not required). Experience in neuroimaging is preferred. Experience and publication in environmental exposures science is preferred. Knowledge of the ECHO program is preferred. Ability to translate, adapt, and apply academic or practical knowledge in the conduct of biological/health science research is preferred.
