Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) opportunity located in Crescent City, California. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate must bring their active California nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California State Nursing License, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), minimum of 5 years of emergency department experience, and 5 years of overall nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line management, continuous intravenous sedation, and interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias.
• Additional Information:
  • Clinical competencies include emergency medications administration, procedural sedation, triage, and isolation precautions.
  • The candidate should be familiar with the Epic electronic medical record system and have recent work history verified within the past 7 years.
  • Vaccinations required include COVID-19 and influenza immunizations.
  • Compliance requires completion of labs within 3-5 days of contract signing and submission of all required documentation 10 days prior to start.
