Solutions Consultant

The Role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own client engagements from first conversation through delivery, advising senior finance leaders and turning their reporting challenges into scoped, deliverable solutions. The role blends consultative selling, proposal writing and hands-on involvement through implementation and ongoing support.

What You'll Do

Develop new business with private equity firms and the finance leaders at their portfolio companies.

Run consultative discovery sessions with CFOs and finance teams to qualify needs and scope data and analytics requirements.

Write proposals and statements of work covering scope, pricing, deliverables, assumptions and risks.

Deliver tailored product demonstrations built around each customer's revenue model, systems and reporting needs.

Stay involved after signature, supporting implementation kickoff and ongoing services and spotting opportunities to expand the relationship.

What We're Looking For

3 to 8+ years of consulting experience in finance transformation, diligence or M&A.

Direct experience working with CFOs and other senior stakeholders.

Comfort with the key performance measures used to evaluate subscription businesses.

Strong executive presence and the ability to command a room with senior finance and investor leaders.

Based in Boston or New York City and able to work in the office 4+ days per week.

Bonus Points

Background in private equity value creation, portfolio operations or PE-backed finance environments.

Working knowledge of ERP, billing or CRM systems.
