Gold Star Commercial is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team. This position will oversee commercial construction and large capital improvement projects from estimating and planning through completion.

We are looking for a construction professional who understands how projects are built, can develop accurate estimates, effectively manage subcontractors and internal crews, and has the organizational skills to keep multiple projects moving on schedule and within budget.

The Project Manager will also play a key role in establishing and maintaining quality control standards across our commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed estimates and proposals for large commercial capital improvement projects

• Review project scopes, drawings, specifications, and site conditions to develop accurate project pricing

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee projects from initial estimating through final completion

• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and Gold Star employees working on assigned projects

• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, and deliveries

• Manage the logistics of equipment and material delivery to ensure crews have what they need when they need it

• Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and overall performance

• Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress and address issues

• Ensure work is being performed according to project specifications, industry standards, and Gold Star expectations

• Establish and maintain quality control processes throughout the project

• Identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective action when necessary

• Communicate effectively with clients, property managers, owners, subcontractors, vendors, and internal team members

• Review invoices, change orders, subcontractor pricing, and project costs

• Identify potential project risks and proactively address issues before they impact schedule or budget

• Maintain accurate project documentation and records

• Assist with project closeout and ensure completed work meets client expectations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction or construction project management experience

• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and project processes

• Demonstrated experience creating estimates for commercial construction or capital improvement projects

• Experience managing subcontractors and construction crews

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and scopes of work

• Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Strong communication and relationship management skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction estimating or project management software

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

This person should be comfortable moving between the office and the job site, working directly with clients and subcontractors, reviewing estimates, coordinating logistics, and making decisions that keep projects moving.
