Benefit Coordinator Intern

Responds to telephone calls and emails, resolving benefit inquiries Completes various administrative tasks within the Benefits Administrative system including the review of qualifying life events and coverage changes Reviews and processes court orders requiring changes to benefit coverage Reconciles monthly invoices from related vendors and facilitates approval for payment Learns organizational processes and procedures Contributes to assigned projects and may assist with the development and maintenance of documentation or records Works in team environment, communicating as required with all personnel Assembles information in a timely and efficient manner Collaborates with staff and departments in preparing special projects Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes / Competencies The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job. Qualifications: Currently enrolled or recently graduated (within 1-year) from an accredited university or college with an HR focused or related degree Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Preferred Requirements: Entry-level knowledge and skill within specified area of professional specialty.
