Contract | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | 07:00–19:30

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, triage, and manage a diverse patient population presenting with acute and emergent conditions
• Assume care of Telemetry Holding patients when clinical needs require
• Accurately document patient care and clinical findings using Cerner electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, timely patient throughput

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Prior clinical experience in the state of California required
• Proficiency with Cerner charting is required — candidates without this experience will not be considered
• Willingness and ability to care for Telemetry Holding patients as needed
• BLS certification required (ACLS strongly expected for ER setting)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Telemetry or step-down patient populations
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in high-acuity environments
• Familiarity with high-volume emergency department workflows
