The company’s mission is to revolutionize the premium cataract surgery experience by allowing surgeons to partner with their patients to achieve optimized results for every unique eye.OVERVIEW:The Senior Analyst of SEC Reporting will be reporting directly to the Director of SEC Reporting and will support the external reporting and the accounting for share-based compensation functions in accordance with SEC, U.S. GAAP and SOX rules and regulations. This role will assist with the preparation of all SEC filings including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, Proxy Statement and review of Form 4 filings. This role will also prepare journal entries and account reconciliations relating to the accounting for stock-based compensation. This is a fully onsite position at our headquarters in Aliso Viejo, CA so candidates must reside in or near this city.RequirementsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Participate in the coordination and preparation of quarterly reports (10-Q), annual reports (10-K), current reports (8-K), Proxy Statements, and other filings as needed.Coordinate the collection of financial and non-financial information needed for the various filings. Review disclosures for completeness, accuracy and compliance with SEC rules and regulations. Prepare stock-based compensation accounting entries and reconcile related balance sheet accounts. Support other month end close activities as needed. Prepare all equity and stock-based compensation schedules for reporting, including EPS. Review XBRL tags for accuracy and completenessComplete disclosure checklists and reporting questionnairesMaintain reporting calendar and monitor progress against key reporting deadlines Assess the impact of recently issued accounting standardsAssist internal stakeholders and external auditors, as neededAssist with technical accounting research and documentation of accounting policies and proceduresStay up to date on FASB, SEC and PCAOB developmentsPartner with internal departments and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reportingREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:CPA and Public/Big 4 accounting experience preferredPrevious experience in SEC reporting and share-based compensation Experience in medical devices preferredProficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skillsStrong analytical, problem solving and organization skillsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAble to work independently and take initiative, to adapt to changing priorities, and to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlinesDetail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and a team playerRequires minimal supervisionAble to handle stressful situations with tight deadlinesSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:NoneEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING:BS and/or MS degree in AccountingCPA with 3+ years of experience in a similar role, Big 4 highly preferredStrong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting and SOX complianceTraining to be completed per the training plan for this position as maintained in the document control systemThe training requirements on TRN-10007 Insider Trading Policy, TRN-10008 Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and TRN-10009 Code of Business Conducts and Ethics must be diligently completed within 30 days from the hiring date and on an annual basisCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:CPA preferredCOMPUTER SKILLS:ERP experience required; ERP in manufacturing environment a plusExperience with Active Disclosure, Workiva or similar software Experience with EquityEdge, Solium (or a similar equity administration platform)MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Notice to Staffing Agencies and Search FirmsRxSight does not accept unsolicited resumes or candidate submissions from staffing agencies or search firms for any employment opportunities.
