Job Description
\nOwensboro Health Medical Group is seeking additional Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine (ABEM, AOBEM) physicians to join our team at Muhlenberg Community Hospital consisting of 5 physicians and 2 NPs/PAs who welcome an average of 15,000 annual ED visits.
\nThe 10 bed unit is located in a 60 bed community hospital where patient experience and quality care drive every decision for the population we serve within eight counties of western KY.
\nOPPORTUNITY DETAILS EMERGENCY MEDICINE

- $426,000 three-year Guaranteed Base Compensation \n
- $50,000 Potential Engagement Bonus \n
- $35,000 Upfront Bonus \n
- Up to $100K in student loan reimbursement ($25K/year for 4 years) \n
- $6,000 CME annually \n
- $2,000 toward professional society/DEA/License \n
- Residency stipends available \n
- Full Benefit and retirement packages \n
- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage \n

- 142 Twelve hour shifts annually (7a-7p / 7p-7a) \n
- 24 hours of physician coverage, 10 hours of APC coverage \n
- Shifts split proportionally between days and nights \n
- Unit averages 40 patients per day \n
