Line Cook (Full-time)

Full-time Cook – Houston – Buffalo Speedway We are currently seeking a Full-time Cook at our Houston – Buffalo Speedway community. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely preparation of meals with high-quality presentation, following approved recipes and preparation guides. You will assist with sanitation of food service areas, receive and inventory supplies, and maintain a safe, sanitary environment in accordance with regulatory guidelines. The Cook reports directly to the Executive Chef, who oversees day-to-day operations of the Food & Beverage department. Responsibilities Prepare quality food and meals on time. Style and present meals, ensuring appealing plates, entrée availability, and timely preparation. Keep the kitchen and service areas clean. Interact with residents and guests, maintaining positive guest relations. Control inventory of food and supplies. Requirements At least one year of experience cooking in a restaurant setting. Possesses strong culinary skills. Knowledge of restaurant-styled service as related to meal preparation, service, and timing. Ability to read and follow recipes. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
