About The Role As an Administrative Assistant, you’re the first friendly face our clients and families see. You’ll provide professional front-desk and clerical support that keeps our outpatient offices running smoothly, so our clinicians can focus on delivering quality care. Part-time, up to 29 hours per week, at any of our outpatient locations What You’ll Do Provide clerical support to the clinical team: preparing correspondence, rescheduling evaluations, and copying, faxing, or mailing records, releases, and PCP notifications within the business week. Complete other reasonable requests on time. Build and maintain the weekly appointment schedule based on therapist input. Collect co-pays at the time of service, provide receipts, enter all co-pays into the electronic health record (EHR), and batch out the credit card machine at the end of each day. Schedule follow-up appointments as clients leave, and provide appointment cards and school excuses as needed. Make reminder calls to clients for all scheduled therapy appointments. Requirements What You’ll Bring High school diploma and at least one year of office experience in customer service and clerical support Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and an electronic health record (EHR) system Level 2 clearance from DCF Clearing house - Nice to Have Previous experience in a medical setting Paid experience working with children and their families Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid certification Bilingual in English and Spanish CGC is a Drug-Free Workplace *** ADA Disclaimer: In developing this job description, care was taken to include all competencies needed to successfully perform in this position.
