Expectations:

Minimum Requirements:

• Licensed as a Speech Pathologist by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board, hold a Pupil Service License by the Ohio Department of Education, and have your CCC, Certificate of Clinical Competence, from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and a minimum of two years of experience
• Familiar with the Ohio Education Code, Ohio Code of Regulations, and Office of Education schools' policies, rules, and regulations regarding programs and pupils
• Valid Ohio Driver's License in good standing
• Hold valid CPR and First Aid training certificate
• Must clear a current background check through the FBI and BCI
• Auto insurance liability coverage which meets the minimum for work-related travel (25/50k liability coverage)
• Ability to travel to more than one site on any given day
• A current TB Test

Preferred Qualifications Include:

• Experience working with individuals with special needs
• Five (5) years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience in auditing and monitoring compliance for the district, state, and federal regulations regarding Special Education
