Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for its Rockford, Illinois location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient services. The role involves venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups, with Monday-Friday and rotating Saturday hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for diverse patient populations
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient data accurately and maintain specimen information logs
- Process billing information and collect payments from patients
- Prepare collected specimens for laboratory testing and analysis
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year phlebotomy experience or accredited certification
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
- Exceptional customer service track record
Compensation: $17.75 - $24.00 per hour
