Highlights Pay: $43.00/hour Location: Akron, OH Facility: Bath Health and Wellness Center Department/Unit: Emergency Department Schedule: Per Diem, Variable shifts What You'll Do Provide direct nursing care. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs. Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing education and clinical nursing study. Requirements Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) required. Experience: 2+ years of recent related nursing experience for external applicants. Internal applicants with less than 2 years’ experience may be considered with approval. Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within one year of hire. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 24 months of beginning work in the Emergency Department.
