About VIN.VIN

VIN.VIN is a growing Vietnamese restaurant brand that combines authentic Vietnamese flavors with a modern American dining experience. Following the success of our six restaurants in Europe, we are opening our first U.S. location in Midtown Manhattan.

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Restaurant General Manager to lead the opening team and oversee daily restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, train and lead the front-of-house team.

• Prepare the restaurant for its soft opening and grand opening.

• Manage daily service, staff scheduling and labor costs.

• Maintain high standards of hospitality, food quality and cleanliness.

• Oversee reservations, guest relations and complaint resolution.

• Coordinate closely with the Executive Chef, ownership and vendors.

• Manage inventory, purchasing and operating expenses.

• Ensure compliance with NYC health, safety and labor regulations.

• Monitor sales and overall operating performance.

• Develop systems and procedures that can support future VIN.VIN locations.

Qualifications

• At least three years of restaurant management experience.

• Full-service restaurant management experience in New York City preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.

• Good understanding of restaurant financials, labor management and cost control.

• Comfortable using POS, reservation and delivery platforms.

• NYC Food Protection Certificate preferred.

• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays when required.

• Previous experience opening a new restaurant is a strong advantage.

• Interest in Vietnamese cuisine and culture is welcome but not required.
