Education Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Additional training in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory management is a plus.

Experience Requirements

• 2-4 years of shipping, warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience required.
• Experience processing customer orders, preparing shipping documents, and maintaining accurate shipping records.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, data entry, and basic computer applications.
• Working knowledge of UPS, FedEx, and other freight carrier shipping platforms.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Effective communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Experience supporting inventory control, cycle counts, and material flow processes.
• Knowledge of shipping best practices, freight documentation, and warehouse safety standards.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and material handling throughout the shift.
• Ability to use a computer for data entry and shipping documentation.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment.

Job Duties

• Process customer orders and accurately remove inventory through the ERP system.
• Create packing lists, shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required shipping documentation.
• Pick, pack, and prepare parts, products, and materials for shipment using appropriate packaging methods to prevent damage during transit.
• Enter shipping and tracking information into ERP and carrier systems.
• Coordinate daily pickups and deliveries with UPS, FedEx, freight carriers, and transportation providers.
• Maintain organized staging, packing, and loading areas to support efficient shipping operations.
• Assist with inventory counts, order picking, packing, and material handling activities as needed.
• Identify and communicate inventory, material, or shipping issues to leadership.
• Follow company procedures, quality standards, and safety policies to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain a safe work environment and promptly report any safety concerns or incidents.

What You Will Do


As a Shipping Coordinator you will receive incoming shipments, inspect materials, prepare outbound orders, verify inventory, organize warehouse stock, complete shipping and receiving documentation, and help maintain accurate inventory records. You will safely move products throughout the warehouse while supporting efficient shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment operations.
