Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity offers positions at both elementary and high school levels for dedicated professionals passionate about supporting students’ diverse academic and developmental needs.

Your role will involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, engaging in individualized student planning, and ensuring each learner receives the support necessary to thrive throughout the academic year, beginning in August and concluding in May. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid New Mexico PED licensure in Special Education.
• Previous experience teaching Special Education at elementary or high school levels (preferred).
• Strong skills in implementing IEPs and adapting instruction for varying abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to K-12 students with diverse needs.
• Develop, monitor, and report on IEP goals in partnership with staff and families.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support personnel.
• Maintain accurate student records and compliance documentation.
