Billing Team Lead

Supporting the billing team in a hybrid role, the full-time Billing Team Lead will manage unbilled claims, assist with staff training, and ensure compliance with billing procedures while maintaining personal production responsibilities. Key responsibilities Monitor and manage the status of unbilled claims to ensure timely and accurate billing Train and mentor new billing staff while motivating the team to achieve weekly goals Serve as a liaison with colleagues across departments and stay current with payor regulations Required qualifications Minimum of two years' experience in medical billing, preferably in emergency medical services or a related healthcare setting High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred Experience providing informal guidance or peer support within a billing team Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting billing data Ability to balance personal billing workload with supporting team tasks and projects
