Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to engage with clients and colleagues from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a connection to our community-focused initiatives. You will work within a flexible schedule, primarily from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional evening hours required based on client appointments. This setup maximizes both collaboration with team members and accessibility for your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use issues, effectively identifying co-occurring conditions.

• Collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based interventions addressing mental health and substance needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, equipping clients with essential coping strategies, relapse prevention techniques, and skills for emotional regulation.

• Work in coordination with our multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists—to deliver holistic treatment solutions.

• Implement regular monitoring of substance use and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients throughout their recovery journeys.

• Educate clients and their families on the interconnectedness of mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of adherence to treatment plans.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation of treatment progress, interventions, and referrals in adherence to ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in case conferences, staff meetings, and professional development trainings to enhance your expertise and stay updated on best practices in co-occurring disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with co-occurring disorders, which often present unique treatment challenges. Clients may include a diverse array of ages and backgrounds, each requiring personalized attention and interventions that consider their specific circumstances. By addressing both their mental health and substance use disorders, you will contribute substantially to breaking the cycles of addiction and promoting sustained recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of Oregon as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Proficiency and experience in evidence-based therapeutic modalities for treating co-occurring disorders, particularly Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• In-depth understanding of the complex relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, aiding in the development of effective treatment plans.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with a strong ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within community health settings or healthcare environments focused on integrated care.

• Background in facilitating group therapy sessions and leading educational workshops for clients and their families.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and tracking client progress.

Compensation and Benefits\n
