This role ensures productivity and accuracy across designated areas of responsibility.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)Support and guide team members through the pick, pack, and ship processes to ensure order accuracy and compliance with customer requirementsMonitor workflow and delegate assignments to maintain department efficiency and fulfillment timelinesAssist with movement of merchandise and materials through each area of responsibilityEnsure internal process standards and client compliance protocols are consistently followed throughout the fulfillment cycleUse computers, mobile devices, and manual tracking to document and report order activity and performance dataMonitor supply and equipment needs and report volumes as necessaryPromote adherence to safety procedures, company policies, and respectful workplace behaviorTeam Leader Required SkillsBe aware of any issues or conflicts that arise within the team and communicate to Supervisor to address performance concerns through coaching and mentoringEnsure that teamwork is being adhered to by setting the exampleExhibit organizational and time management skills by responding to emails promptly; addressing concerns promptly; and meeting deadlines set by the Supervisor or Manager of the departmentAbility to work under pressure and handle stressful situations with composureAid supervisor in identifying high potential employees for future career growthEducation and Experience:High school diploma or GED.Previous experience as a Warehouse Associate, either internally or with prior companiesSpecial Requirements:Ability to work occasional overtime and weekend work as required to meet business needsAbility to work in an open warehouse environmentKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong organizational and multitasking abilitiesCapable of handling and processing large, complex workloadsAble to maintain productivity and accuracy under time constraintsFlexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and volumeAble to work independently with limited supervisionHigh attention to detail in reading, sorting, and recording dataIntermediate computer proficiency, including spreadsheets and emailProactive in improving processes and standardsStrong communication and collaboration skillsProfessional and composed under pressureMaintains a clean and orderly work environmentGood penmanship and reliable attendanceEquipment Used:Computer, mobile devices, printer, telephone, photocopier, fax machine, scanner, calculatorSoftware: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet BrowsersPallet jack, various hand and power toolsSafety Equipment: Safety shoesPhysical and Mental Requirements:Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, crouch, kneel, climb, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists.Exerts up to 50 pounds of force often, and/or up to 100 pounds of force occasionally or constantly to move objects.Close mental and visual attention needed to perform work dealing primarily with preparing and analyzing data and figures, using a computer terminal, and/or data entry.Environmental Conditions:Work is performed in both an office and warehouse environment with exposure to temperature changes and noiseBenefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage401K Retirement Savings + Company MatchPaid Vacation, PTO and HolidaysCompany sponsored life insurance and LTDHealth Savings Account + Company MatchGenerous Employee DiscountVerizon DiscountReferral Bonus ProgramOpportunities for professional development and career advancementMacKenzie-Childs is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
