Emergency Medicine Physician

Coverage Needed:

Schedule: 3 - 24 hour shifts per pay period (minimum)
Shift Length: 24 hours; 7a-7a (occasionally 12-hour shifts)
Open Shifts:
- July - July
- July - July

- July - August
- Ongoing coverage

Clinical Details:

Provider Daily Volume: Average 4 ED patients/day
Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: Average 4 inpatients (obs, acute, and swingbed)
EMR: TogetherCare (EPIC)
Inpatient Responsibilities
Support Staff:
- Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 4
- Nursing Support: 2 RNs for all services
- Ancillary Staff per provider: 1 CNA
Number of Exam Rooms per provider: 3 ED treatment rooms, 20 inpatient beds
Medical Imaging, Lab & Pharmacy available
On Call: In-house coverage (provider sleep room available)

Requirements:

Board Certified - ABEM or FP/IM with recent EM experience
Active IA License
Clean Malpractice/Background History
Self-Query NPDB (Should be pulled within the month)
Must be able to cover listed dates
Drive in candidates - Strongly Preferred
