Senior Corporate Accountant

Careers with our Clients through Forvis Mazars US Executive Search Senior Corporate Accountant – hybrid (on‑site 2 – 4 days/month, remote the rest) This position does require 2 – 4 days on‑site each month and the selected candidate needs to live within driving distance of Orlando FL and be willing to commute there monthly. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies. Lead key aspects of the month‑end and year‑end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances to ensure financial statement integrity. Manage general ledger activity, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions. Analyze financial results and provide commentary on budget‑to‑actual and prior‑period variances. Support cash management activities, including cash forecasting, account reconciliations, and treasury reporting. Monitor fixed asset activity and maintain depreciation schedules. Support preparation of monthly reporting packages for executive leadership, private equity sponsors, and lenders. Assist with KPI tracking, covenant reporting, and financial performance analysis used to drive business decisions. Partner with FP&A and operational leaders to improve reporting visibility and financial transparency. Requirements Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance 2+ years of corporate accounting experience for private equity ownership Solid Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Financial Analysis skills Proficiency with various accounting systems (Dynamics, Business Central) and Microsoft Excel Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements #J-18808-Ljbffr Forvis Mazars US Executive Search Practice
