divh2Dietitian- Cayuga Health System- Per Diem/h2pThe Dietitian performs comprehensive nutritional assessments and collaborates with the interdisciplinary medical team to prescribe, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans./ppRoles and Responsibilities/pulliServe as a department representative as part of the hospital clinical care team/liliAdhere to all local, state, and federal safety and sanitation regulations/liliDevelop and implement menus that align with clinical and nutritional standards/liliEducate patients on prescribed diets and nutritional supplements related to diagnoses/liliProvide recommendations for enteral and parenteral nutrition support/liliAssess patients for malnutrition and develop appropriate nutrition interventions and care plans/liliServe as a subject matter expert (SME) in food service management software/liliProvide inpatient nutritional counseling/liliDemonstrate flexibility by assuming additional appropriate responsibilities as needed/li/ulpRequired Skills and Experience/pulliCurrent licensure as a Registered Dietitian/liliBachelors degree in Nutrition or Dietetics/li/ulpPreferred Skills and Experience/pulliMasters degree/liliOne (1) year of experience in an acute care setting/li/ulpPhysical Requirements/pulliThis position requires the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including:/liliAbility to lift up to 50 pounds/liliAbility to stand for extended periods of time/liliAbility to work in environments with varying temperatures, including production areas and walk-in coolers/freezers/li/ulpLocation, Travel and Shift Requirements/pulliOnsite - Rotating to cover both locations as needed:/liulliCayuga Medical Center: 101 Dates Drive, Ithaca, NY 14850/liliSchuyler Hospital: 220 Steuben Street, Montour Falls, NY 14865/li/ulliShift: Flex schedule, days, evenings and possible weekends./lili50% Travel expected for this role between locations noted above as needed/li/ulpPay Range Disclosure/ppStandard rate of $33.66 - $43.24 per hour/p/div
