Global corporation seeks a Controller in Lancaster with manufacturing industry experience. The Controller will be responsible for ensuring compliance within the financial reporting, internal controls, inventory valuation, and corporate reporting requirements. This candidate will lead all accounting and financial reporting activities for the manufacturing sector: leading budgeting & forecasting, preparing financial statements, reviewing standard costing, overseeing the general ledger, managing month-end close, coordinating internal and external audits, and collaborating with global finance teams to ensure consist of reporting and alignment with corporate objectives. The ideal individual for this role must be a people leader, drive process improvements & ERP system enhancements, have experience with hazardous material cost tracking and compliance reporting.

Responsibilities

·      Review and manage accounting operations

·      Oversee the month end close process

·      Implement financial strategies

·      Prepare financial statements and reports

·      Account Reconciliations

·      Generate financial analysis and KPI reporting

·      Consolidate financial data

·      Internal Control Monitoring

·      Assist with internal/external audit preparation

·      5+ years of experience within manufacturing

·      CPA highly preferred

·      Strong financial reporting (GAAP, regulatory reporting, foreign exchange/consolidations), internal controls experience

·      Strong communication and analytical skills

·      SAP or any ERP system experience preferred
