District Operations Manager II

White Cap is hiring immediately for a District Operations Manager II in the Field Operations Functional Area. This role is based on site and involves overseeing district-level operations across multiple branch locations. Responsibilities Manages and provides leadership to a team of Branch Managers. Coordinates operational and day‑to‑day functional activities. Communicates and develops operational plans to district and regional leadership. Manages all district‑wide operational strategy rollouts, budgets and goals. Collects data and submits reports as necessary. Determines market opportunities for new products and services. Ensures operational activities are conducted within expense budget. Communicates and reinforces safety compliance. Performs additional duties as assigned. Requires operation of a Company Vehicle or Personal Vehicle >20% of the week; acceptable MVR report is mandatory. Preferred Qualifications Several years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably in a district or multi‑site leadership role. Proficiency in operational analysis, performance metrics, and data‑driven decision making. Experience with implementing process improvement and optimizing operational efficiencies. Strong leadership and people‑management abilities, demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and developing teams. The salary range is determined based on market data, internal practices, and individual factors such as experience and skills. California law requires the posting of this range.
