Position - Tool and Die Maker

Job Location - Sussex, WI

Starting Date - Immediate

Employment Term - Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire

Employment Type - Full-Time, Part-Time, Contract

Work Hours (Shift) - 1st Shift (6:00am - 3:30pm)

Starting Pay - Depends on Experience, $26-$38 per hour

Required Education - High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience - At least 5 years of experience or Journeyman Card

Responsibilities

- Build draw, transfer, and progressive dies for the metal stamping industry

-Set up and operate machines such as drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machines.

-Build welding, inspection, and assembly fixtures per design

-Assist with die maintenance and responsible for performing test runs on all tools to ensure they function properly and that the finished parts are to meet print specifications

-Must be able to analyze 3D designs and models to be manufactured.

-Fitting and assembling tools and die parts.

-Inspecting finished dies and tools for defects, smoothness, and contour deformities.

-Conducting test runs with completed tools and dies


Qualifications

-HS Diploma/GED required, Two-year associate degree in machine tool technology, or Journeyman card, or completed apprenticeship

-At least 5 years of experience or Journeyman Card


- Ability to read prints and complicated schematics in order to manufacture new tooling fixtures and machine parts


- Experience with tool room machinery
