Legislative Director

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in political science, government, public policy, public administration, economics, legal studies, or related field At least one year of professional experience in government, public policy, advocacy, or a related field Excellent writing skills Ability to research complex issues and convey findings clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively Demonstrated interest in state government and policy Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in government, public policy, advocacy, or a related field Experience working in state government, a trade association, or a government affairs firm Familiarity with New York State legislative and budget process Hours This is a full-time, in-office position During the Legislative Session (January through June), the position requires availability outside of standard business hours. #J-18808-Ljbffr State of New York
