This position involves providing specialized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients, managing multiple procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Position Description: Rapid Admit Unit/ER Holding Days. The role involves working on an ER Holding unit with a Medical Surgical level of care, offering first-time travel opportunities. The unit maintains a patient ratio of 1:4, with a focus on care for adult and geriatric populations. Required Qualifications: Valid certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); minimum of 2 years of ER experience; experience with blood product administration, chest tubes, continuous bladder irrigation, CVA management, feeding tube care, and other specialized procedures. Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 48 hours per week. Additional Information: The position requires float flexibility to units within the scope of practice, with an orientation process and mandatory lab compliance within 48 business hours post-contract signing.
