Make a meaningful impact on young students as a part-time School Psychologist serving grades 1-5 in a dynamic, elementary school environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to support approximately 450 students within a close-knit school community just outside of Oak Forest, IL. Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Previous experience working with elementary-aged students is highly preferred.
• Strong background in conducting initial and re-evaluations, including administration of assessments and report writing.
• Excellent communication skills for sharing findings and leading meetings with multidisciplinary teams and families.
• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and professional ethics within an educational environment.
• Ability to effectively collaborate and provide insights for student support planning.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret a variety of cognitive, academic, social, and emotional assessments for students in grades 1-5.
• Prepare comprehensive and informative evaluation reports.
• Take the lead in eligibility meetings, presenting assessment findings in a manner that is accessible to staff and parents.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support individualized learning and behavioral plans.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate within a supportive school setting to ensure student needs are met efficiently and compassionately.
