Mechanical Assembler in York, PAAssemble hydraulic valves—both on?off and proportional types—for machinery. You'll manage daily assigned projects, select correct components, perform mechanical assembly, and complete quality testing to ensure every product meets performance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble hydraulic valves (on?off & proportional).Review daily project assignments and complete them accurately and on schedule.Pick and organize correct parts using measurements and component specs.Perform small?part mechanical assembly using hand tools and power drills.Follow schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.Test assembled valves using machines for scratch resistance, heat resistance, and performance checks.Maintain consistent quality during repetitive assembly tasks.Inspect finished components for accuracy, measurements, and functionality.Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area.Work collaboratively with a small team and follow supervisor direction.Essential SkillsMechanical assembly experience in manufacturing or production.Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and power drills.Ability to read/interpret schematics and blueprints.Experience with basic product testing and durability checks.Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy.Comfortable with repetitive, precision?focused work.Preferred QualificationsSmall?part assembly experience.Familiarity with hydraulic systems or valve components.Ability to follow written and visual instructions.Able to work independently while supporting a small team.Why This Job Stands OutSupportive, safe, and comfortable work environment.Clothing and steel?toe boot reimbursement.Climate?controlled facility for year?round comfort.Small team (7–10 employees) with a respectful, collaborative culture.Work EnvironmentClean, climate?controlled facility designed for precision assembly.First shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.Daily use of hand tools, power tools, and testing machines.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
