Job Description Human Resource team has an immediate opening for an HR Assistant to support centralization and automation of hiring tasks for our hourly workforce. The role involves daily administrative and quality audit activities across internal systems and outsourced vendors. Responsibilities Manage and own daily tasks from start to finish. Escalate issues with processes or tools required to complete tasks and perform quality audits of outsourced vendors. Provide facility reporting and communication to broader team, including leadership. Apply good judgment to ambiguous scenarios when the path ahead is not clear. Drive process and product improvements on behalf of WFS and our candidates. Serve as liaison between field teams and centralized support services. Import and export data within various software platforms, including Excel, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Manage backend processes related to application creation and candidate compliance information, collaborating closely with the internal team. Handle sensitive information (SSN, DOB, DL numbers) with strict confidentiality and privacy compliance. Utilize Excel daily, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, to analyze and organize HR data. Develop and maintain data management systems and processes to ensure efficient handling of HR information. Conduct regular data audits to identify and resolve discrepancies, maintaining data integrity. Assist in developing and improving data management procedures and policies, implementing best practices for data security and privacy. Skills & Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP). Strong data entry and data management skills. Attention to detail and ability to work self‑motivated. Excellent administrative support and customer service skills. Good judgment and problem‑solving in ambiguous situations. Job Type & Location Contract position based in Tempe, AZ. Pay and Benefits Hourly pay range: $23.00 – $23.00 per hour. Benefits for this temporary role may include medical, dental & vision, critical illness, accident & hospital, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, short and long‑term disability, health spending account, transportation benefits, employee assistance program, and paid time off (PTO, vacation, or sick leave).
