Security Sales Lead New USA - Hybrid

We are hiring a Security Sales Lead - US to establish and grow Terra Quantum’s presence in the United States market for post‑quantum cryptography (PQC) and quantum‑safe security solutions. This field‑first, outbound‑focused role centers on building pipeline, developing enterprise relationships, and driving early customer engagements. You will not inherit pipeline; it is your responsibility to create it through outbound efforts, field engagement, and relationship building. As a key player, you will introduce Terra Quantum to U.S. enterprises, federal stakeholders and critical infrastructure organizations. Your focus will be on opening doors, creating opportunities and positioning our platform with security leaders while collaborating closely with internal technical and leadership teams to advance and close deals. You will lead early‑stage customer engagements, beginning with outreach and relationship development, progressing into workshops, pilots and design partnerships, ultimately establishing Terra Quantum as a trusted partner in quantum‑safe security and helping customers start their migration journey toward PQC readiness. You will operate independently in building pipeline and managing relationships, while collaborating closely with leadership, technical experts and product teams to support deal progression and market development. This role fits individuals who enjoy building pipeline from scratch and creating opportunities through outreach and relationships, not those focused on managing inbound demand or late‑stage deal execution. The role is remote with travel for key conferences, customer meetings and industry events. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or account management within cybersecurity or enterprise technology Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and relationship‑building Experience engaging enterprise or regulated buyers (e.g., finance, government, defense, energy, telecom) Ability to engage CISOs and senior security leaders in early‑stage, unstructured conversations Ability to quickly learn and communicate complex technical concepts US Person (required) Experience selling cybersecurity solutions (e.g., encryption, identity, data protection, infrastructure security) Exposure to cryptography, PKI, HSMs, or security architecture concepts Experience working with or selling into federal or government‑related environments Existing network of CISOs, security leaders, or enterprise buyers in the U.S. Experience in early‑stage or market‑entry environments Interest in post‑quantum cryptography and emerging security technologies Responsibilities Build Terra Quantum’s U.S. market presence by generating pipeline and establishing strategic relationships Drive outbound prospecting efforts to engage target enterprise and public sector accounts Represent Terra Quantum at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities Develop early customer engagements, including workshops, pilots and design partnerships Partner with leadership and technical teams to progress and close opportunities Provide market feedback to inform product, messaging and go‑to‑market strategy Create momentum in a new market by consistently generating conversations, follow‑ups, and opportunities where no prior relationships exist Day‑to‑day Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, events and introductions Engage with CISOs, security leaders and technical stakeholders to understand needs and position solutions Attend and network at key conferences (e.g., RSA, Black Hat, regional security events) Coordinate and support customer workshops, demos and early‑stage engagements Maintain pipeline visibility and track progress across opportunities Collaborate with internal teams to align customer needs with product capabilities Contribute insights on competitive landscape, customer objections and market trends The Rewards An opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds in the pioneering field of quantum technologies as well as an experienced and progressive leadership team Gain knowledge of cutting‑edge technology developments in science & engineering A chance to be part of one of Europe’s leading technology firms of the upcoming decades Welcoming, friendly and professional colleagues A personal development plan with clear goals for advancement Flexible working arrangements A diverse and supportive atmosphere where innovation and initiative are encouraged If you are enthusiastic about positively impacting the world and helping to drive the second quantum revolution, let’s talk!
