Senior Pricing Analyst

Your role on the team: Build and submit Ocean FCL quotes (import/export) — Spot and Long-Term Use CargoWise to generate quotes and maintain customer-specific tariffs Coordinate with Trade and Dray Manager to fight for best available rates Analyze gross margin and commercial viability before submitting pricing Own and maintain pricing dashboards to track quote volume, success ratio, and margin trends Set thresholds for quoting by lane, customer type, and vertical to protect profitability Follow up on open quotes and support BD teams with feedback loops and updates Provide post-mortem analysis on lost business to adjust strategy Collaborate with Regional Pricing and Procurement teams to align cost assumptions and markup logic What you need: Minimum five years experience in Ocean Freight Pricing, Trade, or Commercial roles (U.S. scope preferred) Expert knowledge of FCL pricing mechanisms, carrier dynamics, and margin levers Experience with Excel for analysis and modeling Experience with Cargowise suite of logistics software for quoting and tariff modules Commercial instinct with ability to spot a winning rate vs. a margin trap Organized, responsive, and thrives in a high-volume quoting environment PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Access and Excel Excellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a proven ability to develop relationships with a range of internal and external customers and negotiate internally Strong Analytical skills What you gain from joining our team: Access wages early with the Rain financial wellness app Free telemedical access to doctors and therapists through First Stop Health is available on the first day of employment Health, dental, and vision insurance after 30 days of employment Paid maternity and parental leave Access to career development, employee resource groups, and mentorship programs Access to employee perks like fitness class discounts and free access to a relaxation and meditation app Free financial wellness programs Opportunities to volunteer and give back to your community + more!
