About the Job:

The Procurement department is looking for a Procurement Coordinator with a sharp eye for detail and a curiosity for how information, processes, and people connect to support procurement across SAN. This role will coordinate procurement records and documentation, support contract and document workflows, organize and analyze data, develop reporting, and work with internal departments and external partners to research questions and keep information moving accurately.

As part of the Authority's career pathway program, School 2 SAN, this opportunity is designed as an early-career opportunity to learn public-sector procurement from the ground up. The ideal candidate will be responsible, organized, comfortable working independently, and eager to learn new systems and turn information into something useful. As their knowledge grows, they'll have opportunities to become a go-to resource for reporting and contribute to special projects that use data and technology to improve processes, strengthen audit readiness, and solve real operational challenges.

This role comes with a pretty unique view of how an airport works. Think about everything it takes to keep an airport running—from technology and equipment to professional services, construction support, and everyday supplies. Somewhere along the way, Procurement helped make it happen.

What is School 2 SAN? The School 2 SAN program provides entry-level opportunities for individuals with limited or no prior work experience. Our goal is to help students and recent graduates build their knowledge, skills, and confidence on the job, while gaining exposure to the wide range of careers available in aviation, public service, and infrastructure. You are eligible if you meet the minimum education requirements of the position. Individuals hired through this pathway begin at a lower salary and are automatically moved to the organization's benchmarked series hiring salary once the minimum years of experience have been met. What You'll Do:

• Coordinate Contracts: Support contract documentation, routing, approvals, tracking, and other administrative processes from start to finish.
• Own the Details: Organize and maintain accurate procurement records, forms, files, logs, and documentation using SharePoint and other systems.
• Turn Data into Insights: Track and analyze procurement data, create reports, monitor key information, and identify discrepancies or trends that need attention.
• Connect the Dots: Work with departments, vendors, contractors, and team members to research questions, gather information, and keep processes moving.
• Improve How We Work: Help identify better ways to organize information, use technology, strengthen audit readiness, and improve procurement processes through special projects.
