As a skilled school psychologist, you’ll play a key part in helping students reach their full potential, working side-by-side with educators, parents, and allied professionals.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
• Familiarity with the elementary student age group and their developmental needs
• Proficiency in administering relevant assessments and developing individualized intervention plans
• Strong communication and consultation skills for facilitating partnerships with staff and families
• Experience gathering data to support student achievement and behavioral success
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative school environment
• Prior school-based experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
• Conduct student assessments to identify learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct counseling and crisis interventions as needed
• Offer consultation to teachers and parents to support positive learning environments
• Participate in special education meetings and student support teams
• Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress
• Advocate for student success through evidence-based interventions
