Norwood, PA Temporary 3-4 Month Assignment $27/Hour

Linke Resources is conducting a search for a Payroll Administrator on behalf of a well-established and highly respected nonprofit human services organization in Philadelphia .

The Opportunity

The Payroll Administrator will join the organization's Finance/Payroll team and be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll and related activities. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and partnering with Human Resources and Finance to ensure payroll information is accurate.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and timely for employees across the organization.
• Review timekeeping information, hours worked, earnings, deductions, benefits, and other payroll data.
• Enter and maintain employee payroll information and process employee changes.
• Review payroll reports and identify and resolve discrepancies before payroll is finalized.
• Process new hires, terminations, compensation changes, deductions, and other payroll adjustments.
• Respond to employee questions regarding pay, deductions, and other payroll matters.
• Research and resolve payroll issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations and reporting.
• Work closely with Human Resources and Finance/Accounting to ensure payroll data is accurate and complete.
• Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records.
• Assist with payroll audits, year-to-date reviews, and other payroll-related projects.
• Provide additional support to the payroll and accounting functions as needed.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented payroll professional who can hit the ground running and quickly become a productive member of the team.

Qualifications include:

• 2+ years of hands-on payroll administration experience.
• Solid understanding of payroll processes and procedures.
• Experience working with a payroll and/or HRIS system.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work with confidential employee information with discretion.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to consistently meet payroll deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to research and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with HR and Finance.

Preferred Background

Experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, human services, behavioral health, or other complex organization is a plus, but not required.

Candidates who have experience supporting payroll for a larger workforce, multiple departments, varied work schedules, or multiple pay groups are especially encouraged to apply.
