Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Senior Accountant with strong experience in large-scale ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. This role will be responsible for managing the month-end close process, preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, supporting audits, and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate has a strong general accounting background and thrives in a fast-paced environment with complex accounting operations. This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a fast growing company.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances to ensure accuracy and completeness.Maintain and improve accounting processes, workflows, and internal controls.Collaborate with AP, AR, Payroll, and operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.Support external audits and assist with audit schedules, requests, and documentation.Utilize ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics to manage financial data and reporting.Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and perform detailed account analyses.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting as needed.Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.Identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting procedures.Support special projects, system implementations, and process improvement initiatives.
