We are looking to hire a Recruiter in the city of Rancho Cucamonga, CA . This is a Contract to Hire opportunity to join an aerospace manufacturing company!

Position Summary

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and results-driven Recruiter to support talent acquisition efforts within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. This position will manage full-cycle recruitment across hourly production, skilled trades, technical, professional, and salaried positions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on manufacturing recruiting experience, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions and shifting priorities while meeting time-sensitive staffing needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly production, skilled trades, technical, professional, and salaried positions.

• Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, establish hiring priorities, and develop recruiting strategies.

• Source, screen, interview, and evaluate qualified candidates through various recruiting channels.

• Manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously while meeting time-sensitive hiring needs.

• Coordinate interviews and maintain timely communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the process.

• Manage candidate progression from initial screening through offer, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding.

• Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, physicals, and other required pre-employment processes.

• Partner with temporary staffing agencies and internal stakeholders to coordinate contingent workforce needs.

• Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation and ensure required onboarding documentation is completed.

• Maintain accurate candidate, recruitment, and employee records within applicable ATS and HR systems.

• Respond to candidate, employee, hiring manager, and staffing vendor questions regarding employment opportunities and hiring processes.

• Provide guidance on hiring procedures, company policies, and HR programs while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

• Prepare and maintain recruitment reports, staffing metrics, and recurring HR reports.

• Monitor recruiting activity, identify potential hiring delays, and proactively communicate updates to hiring managers and HR leadership.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and other Human Resources activities as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on recruiting experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, pre-employment screening, and onboarding.

• Experience recruiting for hourly production as well as professional or salaried positions.

• Experience managing multiple requisitions and competing hiring priorities simultaneously.

• Experience working with temporary staffing agencies and coordinating contingent workforce needs.

• Strong organizational, time-management, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment with changing staffing priorities.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience utilizing applicant tracking systems or HR information systems.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive candidate and employee information professionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience recruiting within a multi-shift manufacturing environment.

• Experience recruiting skilled trades, maintenance, engineering, and leadership positions.

• Knowledge of employment laws, hiring practices, and pre-employment screening requirements.

• Experience tracking recruiting metrics and identifying opportunities to improve hiring processes.
