Role Description The Assistant Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Corona, CA, responsible for supporting the company’s financial management and accounting operations. On a day-to-day basis, this role assists with general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities. The Assistant Controller helps prepare financial statements, management reports, supports forecasting and cash flow analysis. The role also involves maintaining internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and applicable regulations, coordinating with external auditors, and collaborating with operations and leadership to provide accurate financial information for decision-making. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward certification is a plus. At least 2 years' experience in an assistant controller, senior accountant, or similar role; experience in wholesale, manufacturing, or distribution is beneficial. Strong knowledge of GAAP, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations. Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis in a corporate or manufacturing/wholesale environment. Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (Dynamics Business Central), as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools. Ability to maintain accurate records, implement and follow internal controls, and support audits and regulatory compliance. Problem-solving and organizational skills.
