Security Officer Patrol Operations – Part Time at Peoria, IL Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Tue: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Wed: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access concerns. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions as directed by site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized persons from entering restricted operational areas. Support daily operations by observing site conditions, reporting maintenance or security-related concerns, and assisting with orderly responses to emergencies, evacuations, and/or operational disruptions. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
