System Integration Associate

DescriptionSAIC is looking for a System Integration Associate to assist us in support of several programs we currently have and additional ones we are pursuing. This position will be located in Panama City, Florida.Job Description:Performs a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and assembly operations on product components.Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harness fabrication and of integration of subassemblies.Ability to interpret schematics, drawings, data sheets and be able to identify errors and notify management or customer as required.Identifies, evaluates and recommends appropriate solutions to resolve complex and interrelated problems.Set up and operate a variety of power and machine tools such as drill press, saws to make metal parts or lumber to exact tolerances and dimensions.Contributes to completion of routine technical tasks, assisting other personnel as required.Tasking is project-based sometimes working at customer sites will be required assisting with production and repair of integrated systems.Verify quality in accordance with a drawing package or schematic.QualificationsRequired Education: Bachelors and zero (0) years related experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree. Qualifications:Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawingsWork independently or with little supervisionUtilize hand tools, meters, oscilloscope, etc.Use power tools, drills, saws, etc.Soldering connectionsAssemble cable harnesses per drawingsPossible CONUS & OCONUS travelDesired Qualifications:IPC-J-STD-001 Standard SolderingIPC/WHMA-A-620 Cable and Wire HarnessClearance:Ability to obtain an Interim SECRET security clearance to start and the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearanceTravel:CONUS Travel 10-20% is possible; OCONUS travel may also be required.
