Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide oversight and management of clinical operations in the immunotherapy and chemotherapy departments, ensuring high standards of patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves financial performance oversight, staffing, and training of nursing personnel, as well as participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate orientation and training for new nursing staff, ensuring competency development.
• Manage patient care assignments based on patient needs and staff qualifications.
• Implement and revise nursing services and departmental policies as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with patient care standards.
• Evaluate staff performance and conduct performance reviews.
• Assist in developing annual departmental budgets and optimizing resource utilization.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current, valid AK RN license required at the time of application.
• Minimum of 5 years professional nursing experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as a staff RN in immunotherapy or chemotherapy.
• 1 year of supervisory experience required.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications preferred.
