Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while connecting with patients through telehealth platforms. Our outpatient office environment is designed to support multidisciplinary teamwork, yet you'll often engage in direct patient interactions via virtual sessions. A typical work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with some flexibility required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to assess patients' conditions and design individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to address various mental health issues.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that foster community and shared understanding among participants.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care that addresses each patient's unique needs.

• Provide crisis intervention services for patients experiencing acute distress or emergencies, ensuring their safety and immediate well-being.

• Educate patients regarding their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources within the community to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in strict adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in case reviews, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities to enhance clinical skills.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in the mental health field to provide the best possible care for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• Required: A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is mandatory.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and effective treatment modalities, as well as familiarity with therapeutic approaches.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage patients effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While a Bachelor’s degree is the minimum requirement, candidates with a Master's or Doctoral degree in psychotherapeutic disciplines are preferred. Additional experience in outpatient settings or with specific populations, such as children or those with dual diagnoses, will be highly regarded. Previous telehealth experience will also be beneficial, given the remote nature of this position.

Compensation and Benefits\n
