Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while ensuring that you can provide high-quality telehealth services to your clients. You will have the flexibility to schedule sessions within our standard work hours, which are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; some flexibility in your schedule may be required to meet the needs of your patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify patients' concerns and the impact of cultural factors on their mental health.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions that respect each patient’s cultural context.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing mental health challenges, promoting resilience, and fostering personal growth.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure integrated and effective patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, employing de-escalation techniques and ensuring patient safety during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about various mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journeys.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient interactions and progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case conferences and team meetings to enhance treatment efficacy and receive ongoing professional training.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, which includes adults and adolescents from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant communities. This role requires an understanding of the specific challenges faced by these groups, along with the ability to provide compassionate, effective mental health support that addresses their unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment theories, and culturally competent approaches in therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
