Construction Superintendent

Sincere Builders is hiring a Superintendent with extensive ground up and build out experience on commercial projects. The ideal candidate will assume full ownership of the job site with an emphasis on safety, quality and schedule. The Superintendent will report to the Director of Construction. Responsibilities Project specific Work with Director of Construction on project implementation and setup requiring interfacing with architect and engineer(s) Interface with Project Manager on the day to day constructions activities of each assigned project Oversee subcontractor work, schedule material delivery with vendors, and coordinate with inspectors and the local government to promote a coordinated operation Identify and predict project related conflicts and work with General Superintendent, project manager, sub contractors, vendors and inspectors to resolve them Manage and make decisions related to the performance of work related to quality control, subcontractors staffing, scheduling and material delivery Ensure all necessary permits and insurance are in place and kept current for the term of the project. Act as liaison to inspection agencies. Submit daily job site reports to project manager Qualifications Minimum of 7 years of building construction experience required with 5 of those years as a Superintendent Thorough knowledge in all aspects of building systems with an emphasis on civil and structural work Complete understanding and proficiency in: Procore's Superintendent tools General and subcontractor documents All types of drawings and specifications Constructions means, methods and materials Understanding of line, grade and survey methods Knowledge of building codes and compliance Experience with scheduling and project management software Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and electronically Keen eye on detail Ability to direct multiple crews on site #J-18808-Ljbffr Sincere Builders
