Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our outpatient office in Sayreville, New Jersey. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and devise individualized treatment plans targeting their specific goals.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload, allowing you to dedicate sufficient time and resources to each patient, ensuring tailored and effective therapy.
• Implement a variety of orthopedic outpatient treatments that prioritize non-surgical approaches and promote natural healing.
• Develop and adjust comprehensive care plans that incorporate techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities suitable for enhancing mobility.
• Utilize your expertise to instruct patients on exercise regimens, educate them about their conditions, and provide strategies for self-management.
• Track patient progress meticulously through measurable outcomes and adjust treatment strategies based on continuous evaluations and results.
• Foster a motivating and supportive environment to encourage patient adherence to therapy and improvement in their physical abilities.
• Document daily patient interactions accurately using EMR systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
• Collaboratively engage with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and other health professionals, to create integrated care approaches for optimal patient recovery.
• Promote health and wellness concepts, educating patients about lifestyle modifications to prevent further injuries or impairments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working predominantly with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Our diverse clientele includes individuals of all ages and backgrounds, each with unique physical challenges and rehabilitation needs. Your role will be integral in not only restoring their physical functions but also empowering them to utilize preventive strategies for long-term health maintenance.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey is required.
• No history of sanctions or board proceedings, reflecting professionalism and commitment to ethical practice.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription methodologies.
• Experience with EMR, particularly Web PT, to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of current physical therapy practices supported by ongoing research and clinical evidence.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred, particularly in orthopedic or sports medicine.
• Experience developing and implementing fitness programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Prior engagement in multidisciplinary team collaborations to enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
