Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and technically adept Strategic Finance Lead to drive insights and decision-making across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of finance, data science, and business operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner with senior leadership to provide financial and operational insights that support high-impact strategic decisions.
\n
• Develop and maintain advanced business intelligence dashboards and reporting tools using Tableau, Power BI, and other visualization platforms.
\n
• Build and deploy Python-based analytics models to support scenario planning, forecasting, and investment evaluation.
\n
• Translate complex datasets into actionable insights through deep-dive analyses and storytelling.
\n
• Lead the design and automation of financial models, metrics, and KPIs across multiple business units.
\n
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment on data sources, definitions, and governance.
\n
• Support M&A evaluation, competitive benchmarking, and market expansion analysis through robust financial modeling and data analytics.
\n
• Continuously improve data infrastructure and BI processes to increase transparency and efficiency across finance and business teams.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• 4-8 years of experience in strategic finance, analytics, investment banking, consulting, or a related quantitative field.
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline; advanced degree is a plus.
\n
• Proven experience building and scaling BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
\n
• Advanced proficiency in Python for data manipulation, modeling, and automation (e.g., pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, etc.).
\n
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill and present complex financial data to non-technical stakeholders.
\n
• Experience working in fast-paced, data-rich environments; financial services, tech, or hedge fund experience is a plus.
